Macrocarpa is excellent for construction - and we're confident we can meet any requirement of yours.
There is a wide range of construction timber available. All sizes
- Construction Timber is graded based on knot size and severity of defects
- Macrocarpa is a very durable timber. It is stronger than both pine and Oregon. This is due to the length of the plant fibre and the tightness of the grain.
- Macrocarpa does not deform significantly after it has been milled (like Pinus Radiata)
- Heart timber is equivalent to H3.1
- Valley lumber offers all sizes of timber to suit all timber built construction.
